Food & Wine pairing at La Cuina with Vinyes dels Aspres

Top winemaker David Molas, from Vinyes dels Aspres visits La Cuina on Thurday  28th June 2018 @ 7.30pm. Join us for an evening of excellent wines, food and insight into the lives of small independent wine producers in Catalunya

We have the pleasure of presenting four of his best wines alongside four new dishes from La Cuina. A unique food and wine pairing for a unique occasion.

Five kilometres from the French border, squeezed between the Pyrenées and the Mediterranean, the Alt Empordà produces some of the finest wines in Catalunya, and so does David in his winery, based in the old house where Catalan composer Eduard Toldrà spent his summers. From the arid slopes of Cantallops, crazed with red and black slate, vines work hard to produce grapes, with a very low yield but intense flavours.
